You will be notified by email once your order has been shipped with tracking number information. Customers are responsible for providing complete and 100% accurate shipping addresses. Your order will be shipped to the address you input into the “Shipping Address” field in the Berkey USA Checkout Page. Berkey USA cannot make changes to your shipping address once a package has been shipped, and Berkey USA is not liable for packages lost due to incomplete or inaccurate addresses.

Upon receiving your delivery, if an item is damaged or defective as a result of manufacturing, simply contact BerkeyFilterWater.com (Berkey USA) and we will coordinate with the manufacturer to get that item replaced at no cost to you as quickly as possible.

An undelivered order is an order that was not successfully delivered for various reasons. In the event that the carrier is unable to deliver the order for any reason, (including an incorrect address), the carrier will return the package to our shipping warehouse. This package will then be sent back with an extra cost of shipping fee upon your request. Undelivered packages, In this case, the customer is responsible for all shipping and processing fees, all products will be incurred/asset 20% restocking fee for all item(s) returned undelivered


Order Cancellation Policy

If you place an order and then decide to cancel, a cancellation credit card processing fee will be applied. Please call 1(877) 280-5312 or email info@berkeyfilterwater.com for help with order cancellations or changes to an order. Order cancellations or changes are possible for orders that haven’t entered the shipping process yet. 


Return Policy

All sales are final.

Returns and exchanges will be accepted only for orders that are incorrect or have damage. Defects caused by misuse of the item or improper operation are not covered under this policy.
It is the responsibility of every customer to inspect their order for accuracy and any damage to the order immediately upon receiving their delivery for every order.
If your order is missing an item(s) or is damaged upon receipt (such as a scratched or dented chamber), you may request a replacement at no cost within 10 business days from the date of product delivery. We will send you a postage label to send any damaged item(s) back to us. You must contact us within 10 days to qualify for an opportunity to replace the item per the Limited Warranty.
If your order is incorrect or defective, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of the product to request a prepaid return label for replacement. Replacement items will be shipped only after we receive your items. For requests made after the 30 day period has passed, you will be responsible for costs associated with returning the product.

We offer a lifetime warranty on select Berkey Systems (Includes: Travel Berkey, Big Berkey, Royal Berkey, Imperial Berkey, Crown Berkey). Excludes the copolyester Berkey Light, Go Berkey, and Scratch and Dent units. Berkey USA will replace the stainless steel chambers and lid, standard spigot, washers, and wingnuts over the life of the Berkey system ownership. To register, create an account prior to making a purchase by clicking My Account in the top right-hand corner of our web page. Fill in the required fields and click ‘Submit.’ We must have your customer information on record as purchasing through the Berkey Filter Water.com website. Stainless must have been handled with proper care. This guarantee does not cover items that are damaged due to user misuse, abuse, saltwater/air, lack of maintenance (routine cleanings), or accidents (dents from falling, etc.).  This is an exclusive offer to our valued customers from Berkey USA and is in addition to all other stated warranties. The customer is responsible for shipping and processing charges.

IMPORTANT: Berkey USA does not sell on Amazon.  Also, please be aware that the manufacturer NMCL does not warranty any items purchased on Amazon from unauthorized dealers. For example, Amazon.com itself is NOT an authorized dealer. We routinely receive requests for assistance/support from Amazon purchases, and most times are unfortunately unable to provide service support. As a result, and due to the inability of Amazon to assist in policing and removing fraudulent/imitation Berkey products, we do not recommend purchasing through Amazon.


General Manufacturer Warranty Information



  • Black Berkey® elements have a 2-year prorated warranty calculated in 6 months intervals. Our guarantee is pro-rated similar to the guarantee on tire tread. In other words, if you have used the filters for 6 months, 75% of the guarantee still applies and so you can get a replacement set for 25% of the normal cost.
  • The stainless systems themselves have a 12-month warranty.
  • The Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Filters and all Berkey® accessories are covered under a 6-month warranty. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase of the product by the original purchaser.

BerkeyFilterWater.com (Berkey USA) warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase unless specified. Black Berkey elements have a two-year prorated warranty calculated in six-month intervals. Berkey USA will replace or repair any product that it deems is not properly functioning during the stated warranty period. Relief under this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of defective materials or workmanship only. Berkey USA shall not be held liable for incidental or consequential damage to personal property from, but not limited to, a defective unit, improper use, abuse, accident, or neglect, etc. No warranty will apply to units which have been used for purposes not intended, which have been altered so as, in the manufacturer’s judgment, to affect adversely its performance. This warranty is for the original retail purchaser only, and cannot be transferred. 

Berkey USA fully warranties the Berkey line of products. You may contact BerkeyFilterWater.com at any time to report an issue with your product. Berkey USA is a reliable, upstanding, and quality company that will promptly address your needs. 


Warranty Exclusions

The following actions will void your warranty coverage:

  •  Allowing any of the Berkey® elements to freeze.
  •  Using dehumidifier water with any of the Black Berkey® Elements for daily use.
  •  Breaking or damaging Berkey® Products due to dropping, carelessness, cleaning or general mishandling as determined by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd.   
  •  Failure to remove the Black Berkey® Elements from the system prior to transporting or moving the system, resulting in broken stems.
  •  Performing a red food colouring test with the Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements attached. The Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements must be removed prior to performing a red food colouring test in order to stay in compliance with the six-month warranty.
  •  Using the water from a water softening system. Note: this action may clog the Black Berkey® Elements or cause the stainless steel to pit or rust.
  • Using salt water with Berkey® products.
  •  If the product is not used in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations or instructions.
  • Storing Berkey® elements in a manner not approved by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd.

Please note: In many instances, products are perceived to be defective or not working properly due to improper installation, rather than actually being “defective.” Using the troubleshooting guide or “tips” section found at our Customer Support Center web page may help resolve the issue to enable you to continue using your Berkey® product and/or determine if the product is in fact qualified under the Warranty.
